One thing I love about women is that we are willing to be vulnerable and have the courage to get back up using who we truly are and our strenghts.
— Valerie Cabadonga

Auckland Project Fearless was a total dream…not just because I only had four hours of sleep in the bag and one cup of coffee before the event.

Doing our first event outside of Wellington was a huge step out of our comfort zone, but I was so glad for Her Progress to be met by such supportive and encouraging group of women in Auckland. I went into the room only knowing two people and came out with a girl gang. The time, love and laughter that I have shared with these gals were life-changing, and I will forever treasure them!

Auckland Project Fearless 2018 closes this year’s event series, which took place on 1 October 2018 at Ellen Melville Centre.

The purpose behind Project Fearless is to encourage women to be fearless in all areas of their lives through vulnerability, connection, celebration and collaboration. Each session tackles different areas of struggles millennial women face, and equip each other to be the Proverbs 31 woman they can be in their lives.

Upon entering the room, the gals were treated with some yummy finger foods, cookies, drinks and take home goodie bags with gifts to treat themselves with. The event kicked off with an introduction, followed by different workshop exercises involving digging into our fears and insecurities, finding more about our strengths, and a pep talk letter by each gal to themselves.

If there’s one thing we can learn about fears, it’s that every single one of us has at least one of them. It lets us know that we are not alone and we have the opportunity to help one another.

The more we know about our fears, the more we see fear as indicators of the areas we can improve on and places where we can gain new strengths from.

The time I had with these amazing women was unforgettable. I know I came back to my hotel that night wanting to spend some more quality time with them and having a heart to do more events, not only in Auckland, but across New Zealand. Her Progress is on a mission gals!

Again, thank you to every single individual that has made this event possible. No amount of words can describe how grateful I am for every single one of you. Seeing you gals reminded me why Her Progress exists!

If you are a business, brand, blogger, influencer, creative or anyone who wants to be involved in our future events, please email hello@herprogress.com
