Wellington Project Fearless 2018
Three days later and I am still buzzing on how amazing Saturday went down. I was so overwhelmed with joy, purpose and fulfillment that I couldn't help but shed some tears...okay maybe a bucket full of tears. There really is no greater joy when you see a dream unfold right before your eyes - from the atmosphere of the place to just having a quality girl time.
Thank you so much to every gal who came to Her Progress' first ever Project Fearless event here in Wellington. There is something empowering and equipping when you are surrounded by like-minded and fearless women. I left inspired and encouraged by each woman's story and strengths, and I hope you did too!
I am also still overwhelmed by the amount of help, support and contribution of family, friends and businesses from all over New Zealand to make this event happen. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your generosity and believing in the vision of Her Progress and Project Fearless.
The afternoon was filled with laughter, desserts and vulnerability, and I know for a fact that each woman left with less weight on their shoulders, a lot more connected, and one step closer to becoming their own fearless woman.
Wellington Project Fearless 2018 kicks off this year's series, taking place on Saturday 1 September at The Dowse Museum.
Upon entering the room, the guests were treated with desserts, sorbet, drinks and take home goodie bags with gifts to treat themselves with. The event kicked off with an introduction, a 'find your buddy' game, funny stories from each woman, workbook exercises, a quick photoshoot with the amazing Bloom Shine Events flower wall and finishing the event with a prayer to all the gals who attended the event by me.
The purpose behind Project Fearless is to encourage women to be fearless in all areas of their lives through connection, celebration and collaboration. Each session tackles different areas of struggles millennial women fave, and equip each other to be the Proverbs 31 woman they can be in their areas.
It is a time of self-love, reflection, vulnerability, connection, empowerment and bringing out all the fearless qualities in you.
We want to go beyond reaching women via social media. We want to build relationships and connection with the women in our community and encourage one another to discover their true selves and potential, and reach for their dreams.
Her Progress is more than just a blog. It is a movement.
